Marlee felt like a friend we'd known for years from the first time we met her at our engagement shoot. I found her through Instagram and loved her vibe virtually, so meeting her in person, she absolutely exceeded our expectations. My fiance (at the time, now husband) and I had never had professional pictures done, so we didn't know what to expect and thought we would be awkward, but Marlee proved us wrong! She made us look and feel like complete naturals and I knew I made the right choice heading into our wedding day. On our wedding day, she was the reason everything went so smoothly. She is truly your right-hand woman and is so efficient, while getting alllll the content with the utmost quality. I couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect wedding gallery and those are photos I will cherish for the rest of my life. I could never recommend Marlee enough!!!

I truly do not know where to begin with a review - I don’t think there are enough positive words to say about Marlee and Marlee Gentry Photography as a whole. From the moment I reached out to inquire on pricing and availability, Marlee made it seem like we had already been friends for quite some time. Her marketing plan is fully equipped with her site, payments, and informational packets. She truly has the business side down pat and is incredibly professional. On a personal level, she is so kind, helpful and will ensure that you are comfortable behind a camera. In planning the wedding, there were times she stepped in as the honorary wedding planner to help me with timelines, logistics, etc. and even the day of the wedding she stepped in yet again to make sure things got done and that the day was about my husband and I. She is so much more than “just a photographer” - I will continue recommending her to everyone that I know. We cannot wait to have Marlee capture all of the other exciting, beautiful moments in the years to come for us. When I was sharing the details of our unique wedding day with Marlee, she was all in. We had a small ceremony in the morning and a reception that evening. She was there from beginning to end, braving the south GA humidity, with a smile on her face! Marlee was truly the only person I could think of when I was deciding what I wanted and needed in a wedding photographer. You can see her love of her work and her love for people in every communication and detail. I couldn’t have asked for better photos to tell the story of our perfect day. Marlee was seriously the best hype lady and organizer on the day of the wedding. She made sure we were natural but the hair was out of my face and I was standing up tall. She kept us on our timeline and encouraged us when rain looked like it might ruin a lot of plans. She even cut my reception short when I told her I was exhausted and wanted to get out of my dress. She helped make our day so special and memorable! We won’t ever think of our wedding day without her! And don’t get me started on the pictures!! I look at my wedding album at least once a month and just love all of her work.
