Where do I even start? This wedding will always be a favorite of mine. These guys are two of my favorite people to have in front of my camera and to just be around in general. Their love for each other is so infectious and it truly reflects in their photos. Josie & Joey had such a beautiful wedding day this summer. The details and getting ready moments are some of my favorite of this day. Josie and her girls were listening to music, drinking mimosas (and playing cheers to the governor) & truly just spending time with each other the morning of her wedding.

Josie & Joey chose to do a first look and we immediately went into their bridal portraits from there! First looks are a good way to make sure that you are truly spending all day with your boo! This also allows for more time to be spent with your guests if you choose to do a first look! You can skip doing bridal party photos & bridal portraits after the ceremony and spend more time with your guests during cocktail hour!

These guys had so much love and support from their family & friends. Their bridal party were the ultimate hype men & had so much love for Josie and Joey. I loved seeing them truly admire these guys.

These guys had the prettiest wedding under Meadowlark 1939’s iconic beautiful, massive tree! They said I do surrounded by their loved ones & the after ceremony moments are some of my favorites from the whole entire day. The “holy crap we are married” emotions hit different right after you walk out of your ceremony! Get you a photographer that follows you out & is there to capture those emotions!

Their cocktail hour was full of drinks, appetizers, and fun yard games that gave the guests some things to do during family photos. After family photos, J & J went to join their guests!

This reception will ALWAYS be one of my favorites! Outdoor receptions are amazing & the tent that Meadowlark 1939 offers is INCREDIBLE. These guys had Mellow Mushroom for dinner (YUM), had some yummy cookie & cheesecake! A DREAM reception.

Josie & Joey, thank you for trusting me to capture your big day. I loved getting to know you guys over the whole process & I am so thankful that our paths have crossed. I have gained two friends in you guys and I am so so so thankful for that. Thankful for your love for each other which in turn makes my job so easy. For being present on your wedding day. For letting the small stuff go and for remembering that you guys are there for YOU. You guys are a dream, I love y’all forever and ever!
